Using Ion Torrent™ semiconductor chip technology, the Ion Personal Genome Machine™ Sequencer is capable of delivering the fastest run times, the most affordable prices, the highest accuracy and longest reads of any next-generation DNA sequencer.
This revolutionary system simplifies, automates and streamlines a crucial component of the overall Ion sequencing workflow by utilising in-line PCR, combining amplification and templated Ion Sphere™ recovery into a single automated process.
When combined with the ION Torrent OneTouch, these two simple instruments significantly streamline the overall Ion sequencing workflow, yield substantial time savings, and enable increased sequencing productivity and accelerated scientific discovery.
The in-line PCR amplification plate is designed to be used alongside the reaction filter and the integrated centrifuge. When combined, these first-in-class technologies provide parallel clonal amplification and recovery with walk-away results and a minor benchtop footprint.
The GX suite of instruments utilises Caliper’s innovative microfluidics technology to perform reproducible, high-resolution, eletrophoretic separations. Whether analysing RNA integrity for better gene expression data or assessing PCR fragments for resequencing applications, the LabChip GX instrument accelerates your research and helps you generate more meaningful data, faster.
Miniaturisation of analytical instrumentation has many advantages over conventional techniques. These advantages include improved data precision and reproducibility, short analysis times, minimal sample consumption, improved automation and integration of complex workflows.
Focused-ultrasonicators standardise sample prep for a variety of application areas including DNA shearing for Next Generation sequencing, RNA and protein extraction, chromatin shearing, cell lysis, tissue to biomarker, compound management, formulations, and more. In the case of Next Generation sequencing it allows accurate fragmentation of genomic DNA to the required size (~200 bp- ~300 bp).
All samples are stored in a dedicated, alarmed and access-controlled -80°C freezer, exclusively used for safe storage of client samples.
